Typically used as a solution for larger and medium-sized terminals.
Model advantages
Increased capacity, space-saving, flexible, scalable and open automation systems, purposeful construction
Overview
The future prospect of upgrading container crane technology is the automated loading and unloading of containers, a process that began with the introduction of containerized transport in the 60s of the 20th century. Konecranes Automated Rail-mounted Container Gantry (ARMG) systems offer many advantages, especially in industries with a high level of automation. ARMG systems are already being used in several of the world's most advanced container terminals, and their benefits have been consistently recognized by terminal operators.
Proven technology
Konecranes ARMG products are inspired by the realities that container terminals around the world face every day - track and yard conditions - while incorporating Konecranes' proven technology for tire gantry cranes. Konecranes ARMG products are constructed with light weight and flexible steel. By combining this with our Dynamic Load Control (ALC) technology, the crane can quickly and accurately stack containers in a variety of real-world applications.
Valuable hands-on experience
Konecranes can provide you with a complete field-proven ARMG system while ensuring timely delivery within budget. We have a strong reputation for ARMG system project delivery, from the system design phase through commissioning and product handover.
Features
In terms of safety facilities, it is equipped with overload protection, diesel engine overspeed protection, signal devices such as excessive water temperature and low oil pressure, wind speed indicator, anti-typhoon anchoring device, emergency stop button, and limit switches and signal indications of various mechanisms.
In addition, ZPMC can also be equipped with DGPS (Satellite Automatic Positioning System), ECMS, RCMS (Fault Display and Contact with the Central Control Office) on the RTG, as well as a large vehicle jacking device that facilitates the steering of large vehicles and reduces tire wear, and is equipped with boarding elevators.
