The TFE-3.5-E is ideal to load / offload narrow bodies aircraft like A319/320/321 Airbus family but also all lower lobs doors of most wide body aircrafts with doorsills up to 3.5m (11,5ft). Single X scissor mechanism with 2 hydraulic cylinders and 2 transfer zones designed for one-man operation with capability to handle all size containers up to 3,5 tons Its load conveying system with front adjustable guides and rubberized motorized rollers allows efficient transfer in all climatic conditions with maximum operator's safety.

Docking System
CIMC offers a secure system to assist the driver during the aircraft approach
3 activities zones = 3 speed mode
1 ) RAMP AREA : Beyond 6 meters around the A / C, the loader can be moved at high speed (rabbit mode / 14 km / h). In order to have the high speed, the loader bridge must be in the low position and the chassis in the high position. The safety approach system does not affect the behaviour of the loader. On the instrument panel, only the distance between the front of the loader and the nearest object is displayed.

    moved using the accelerator pedal only.
  1. RESTRAINT AREA : Between 3 and 6 meters from the A / C, the loader must switch to Turtle mode (maximum speed of 5 km / h) either by lifting the bridge or lowering the rear platform. The green lamp in the light column is on. The loader can be moved using the accelerator pedal only.
  2. DOCKING AREA : Before docking the A / C and 4m from the A / C, the system automatically stops the loader. The loader is then in snail mode (maximum speed of 0.8 km / h). The orange lamp in the light column is on. The loader can only be moved with a proportional joystick. The accelerator pedal is deactivated.


How it works
  1. ) The new airport regulations require that all equipment approaching Aircraft be equipped with a protection device that cuts off the movement of GSE equipment.
  2. ) The operator must manually activate the system by entering the Controlled Development Zone.
  3. ) If the operator has not activated the SAS system, an indication on the instrument panel will alert him. In addition, the white lamp in the light column will inform the operations supervisor that the turtle gear is not engaged. The supervisor can warn the operator before proceeding with the final approach.
  1. If there is a contact with the fuselage, the loader stops immediately and a red light comes on. Thus, the charger can no longer move. Only the operations supervisor can unlock the equipment using a specific key to reset the charger.

21. Rear(Main) Platform
  • The convey system is directly powered by over-designed hydraulic motors. This chain-free system saves a lot of maintenance time compared with a system with chains and sprockets that have to be tightened and changed frequently.

A stopper at the rear edge of the bridge automatically retracts when the platform reaches bridge level. The stopper remains in up position when the platform is not interfacing with the bridge.

F.      Stabilizers
23. Stabilizers
  • Six stabilization points with automatic pressure limitation on intermediary stabilizers to adjust the chassis to uneven surfaces and ensure perfect rigidity.
  • Pressure switch detects when the stabilizers are extended before introducing loads on the platform. Stabilizers can only be retracted when the platform is in low position. When the stabilizers are extended, the loader cannot switch to drive mode.

  • Proportional flow control valves regulate the speed of lowering the platform and bridge under all conditions.
  • The bridge and platform stabilization and lifting cylinders are fitted with pilot operated check valves locking the cylinders in position in case of hydraulic hose failure.
