The jaw crusher is a large crusher installed and receives no-load testing in the manufacturer's workshop. However it is disassembled into components for transport. When receiving the product, the user shall check carefully the components with the packing list to identify and remove problems that could be caused during transport.
1. To avoid violent vibration caused in operation, this crusher shall be installed on reinforced concrete foundation. The weight of the foundation shall be roughly 8 to 10 times that of this crusher. The depth of the foundation shall be greater than that of the frozen land at local. The positions of anchor bolts for the crusher and motor as well as other dimensions can be found from the foundation drawing. Nonetheless, the foundation drawing may not be used as construction drawing. For these anchor bolts, holes shall be made in the foundation. Grouting in these holes shall be performed after anchor bolt placement. The elevation and size of the discharge chute shall be determined on site according to the discharge process.
2. After the grout hardens, tightening the nuts to anchor bolts. While doing so, measure the levelness of this crusher with a leveling gauge. Along the width of front wall of the framework, the levelness deviation shall be controlled to be less than 2mm. Framework levelness inspection is particularly important to prevent possible skewness of charge port which could cause charge from only one side and bring damage to the crusher because of uneven load.
3. When installing the motor, check the distance between it and the crusher, and whether its pulley corresponds to the crusher pulley so that all the V-belts run effectively in coordination.
4. The size of discharge port shall be adjusted according to granularity of materials and capacity of the crusher. Release the tension spring, adjust the discharge port size, and then tighten the tension spring to prevent the elbow plate detachment. For details, refer to the Component Adjustment Section.
1. To ensure normal operation and extend service life of the crusher, regular lubrication shall be performed.
2. Grease in the bearing block shall be replaced every 3 to 6 months. Before adding grease, clean carefully raceways of roller bearing by using clean gasoline or kerosene, with the drain hole at the bottom of bearing clock open. Add grease to 50% to 70% of the bearing block capacity.
3. Grease used for this crusher shall be selected according to altitude and climate. Generally, calcium base, sodium base, or calcium- sodium base grease may be used. And thick grease may be diluted with light oil.
4. Between the toggle plate and toggle plate pad, it is enough to apply proper amount of grease during assembly and inspection.
5. For reliable and quick application of grease to lubrication points, the lubrication mechanism is utilized (there are four lubrication points in this crusher, i.e. the four bearings). For lubrication time, refer to the drawing.
1. Movable jaw does not rotate while flywheel is rotating
2. Crushing plate shakes and makes collision noise
3. Thrust plate support makes collision noise or other abnormal noise
4. Flywheel comes loose
5. Increased granularity of crushed products
6. Crushing cavity blockage, resulting in current of main motor exceeds normal operation current
7. Excessively high bearing temperature
Preparation before foundation concrete placement
1. Set markings for placement thickness control, for example, horizontal standard piles or elevation piles. Printing horizontal standard lines on the wall of building or on the slope of groove or ditch, or nailing wood pegs of elevation there may also be used as alternative.
2. If groundwater level is higher than foundation ditch bottom, drain water or lower groundwater level so that no water appears in the foundation ditch.
3. Before concrete placement, relevant departments shall be organized to check for nonconformities of foundation ditch, including excessive deviations of axis and elevations, unacceptable geological conditions, and unnecessary holes, grooves or shafts. These nonconformities must be removed before concrete placement.
4. Check whether the slopes of foundation ditch and pipe duct are stable. Remove loose soil and accumulated water if any from the foundation ditch bottom.
If the crushing production line is ready for operation, you should pay attention to five points below:
1. With the main motor turned on, watch the ampere meter on the control cabinet. After the peak value lasting 30 to 40 seconds, the current shall drop to normal operation value.
2. Current during normal operation may not be greater than the specified value for a long period.
3. With the crusher in normal operation, turn on the feeding machine. Adjust the belt of feeding machine to change feeding rate adaptive to material size and crusher operation. Generally material stack height in the crushing cavity shall exceed two-thirds of the crushing cavity height, and material diameter had better not exceed 50%-60% of the charge port width. In this case, the crusher can reach maximum output. Excessive material size can cause blockage affecting production.
4. Prevent strictly foreign metallic parts (for example, blade tooth, track plate, and drilling bit) from entering the crusher, which could cause damage to the crusher. If you find some foreign metallic parts in the crusher, immediately notify next station in the production line to take them out, to prevent them from further entering the second-stage crushing system resulting in accident.
5. In case of automatic tripping of electrical component, do not turn on the crushing equipment until the cause has been identified and removed.

This project belongs to a large EPC project--- a turnkey project, which occupied over 5000m2 and used more than 8300 tons of concrete and over 20 machines.
In November, 2016, SAINTWAH officially entered strategic business cooperation partnership with a domestic influential enterprise --- China SINOMACH Heavy Industry Corporation at Shanghai Bauma Expo. Recently, 1500 -1800TPH tuff crushing production line, as the first result of cooperation, has been put into use.
This project belongs to a large EPC project--- a turnkey project, which occupied over 5000m2 and used more than 8300 tons of concrete and over 20 machines (a 600-meter belt conveyor included). SAINTWAH took responsibility for the whole process of the project, from design to construction, from plant building to after-sales service. The inestimable engineering task attested SAINTWAH's strength and technologies on EPC projects.
China SINOMACH Heavy Industry Corporation is an affiliate of SINOMACH --- one of Top 500 companies over the world. It set strict demand on project research, supervision and quality. Compared with previous projects, this project required more exquisite drawing designs to meet the related standards of National Design Institute. The sectional pictures and specific size of every spare part were needed.
The project is located in an island, which leads the inconvenience of equipment transportation. Meanwhile, the working condition was terrible. High temperature, dust, typhoon and lack of fresh water brought much inconvenience to workers.
The customer required to put the production line into use as soon as possible, leaving too short construction time for us.
Taking various requirements of customers into consideration, SAINTWAH designed two parallel crushing lines. The production base composed of three-stage ladders is 275 meters long and 45 meters wide. The project includes 4 areas to place jaw crushers, storage bins, transition station and cone crushers respectively. The two crushing lines share the transit station and storage bins. Finally, the finished products are sent and shipped by a super long belt conveyor.
So far, the project has been finished and got acceptance. SAINTWAH lived up to customer's expectations and finished the project in time because we arranged simultaneous construction at 4 areas, over 10-hour daily operation of multiple engineering machines and over 70 workers to work day and night. Generally speaking, given same time for similar projects, some machine manufactures may be still at the stage of plant construction.
For this 1500-1800TPH crushing production line, SAINTWAH only used 12 vibrating screens to achieve the effect of pre-screening while some other manufactures may need at least 20 units. Besides, our design helped reduce 1100KW of power, lowering the operation costs. Moreover, the design of this production line saved the length of belt conveyors. Scientific configuration of the production line not only reduced the investment costs but also saved maintenance costs of quick-wear parts.
The machines manufactured by SAINTWAH are worth of trust with all data meeting the requirements of contracts. Compared with SAINTWAH, some manufacturer was confronted with breakdown of a cone crusher in another production line, which cut down 50% of estimated yielding. Strong strength of scientific research and manufacturing is the key to keep the quality of our machines.

This project is one of representative EPC projects of SAINTWAH. During 6 months' construction, SAINTWAH staffs always hold the principle of "Service First" and continuously improve working efficiency to maximize the customer's profits.
As for this cooperation, what touches our customer most is the proficient environmental technology and strong production team. The production line is divided into two parts. The first part is primary crushing system located in granite quarry. After being crushed primarily, granite is then sent into fine crushing and screening system, the second part in industrial park. At the industrial park, there is a large transit stock pile of broken material. Then the material at the stock pile enters two-stage cone crusher for further crushing. Next, impact crusher works to adjust the shape of material. The finished machine-made sand is processed by wet process. Finally, the sand washer and sewage treatment system are used to ensure good granularity and no emission of sewage.

For project design, we adopt fully closed structure which gets rid of air pollution. 1500TPH Granite Crushing Plant
The customer company is engaged in green building materials. It plans to build an environmental industrial park with local characteristics to produce high-quality sand & gravel, concrete, dry-mixed mortar and PC prefabricated parts by recycling piling mine gangues and wastes.
This project adopts SAINTWAH's EPC service. The project can recycle 7.2 million tons of granite wastes and gangues and produce 3.6 million tons of high-quality aggregate every year. The annual profit can reach nearly 1 billion yuan.
This customer cooperated with a company on "high-quality machine-made sand + concrete mixing plant" project and "high-quality machine-made sand + concrete mixing plant + dry-mixed mortar" project in 2014 and 2015. Unfortunately, machines always went out of control during operation. Frequent maintenances was puzzling the customer.
At the beginning of this year, the customer decided to transform and upgrade the two projects thoroughly. Hearing this piece of news, SAINTWAH actively offer two transformation schemes to the customer. And compared with solutions given by the other company, SAINTWAH's schemes can help customer save over 1 million yuan and the construction period can be put on schedule at least 1 month in advance. Therefore, after multiple investigations and comprehensive consideration, the customer finally decided to cooperate with us by ordering a HPT300 cone crusher firstly to upgrade the "high-quality machine-made sand + concrete mixing plant" project. Because of this pleasant cooperation, later, SAINTWAH won favor from the customer easily on the 1500TPH granite crushing project.
On high-quality aggregate production, SAINTWAH is experienced. SAINTWAH has signed several gorgeous EPC projects such as Zhoushan tuff crushing project and Longyou project. So when knowing that this customer planned a project in Henan, China, we were longing for the cooperation. We wanted to add another case on our EPC archives and we had confidence to win trust from the customer. At the end of last year, SAINTWAH's engineers, after various analyses and researches, brought design schemes to the production site. The customer was satisfied with our quick response and showed interests in our project schemes. Accepting our invitation, the customer visited our headquarters and paid a site inspection to our Zhoushan's EPC project.
After inspection, our engineers offered the customer overall planning aerial view pictures within a week. And then we reported this project to government before Spring Festival and got the approval quickly. In a word, our quick response helped accelerate the whole project process.
In April of this year, the customer invited some specialists from hydropower and cement industry to discuss and judge design schemes offered by all companies. Through analyses of investment costs, construction period and product performances, specialists finally gave votes to SAINTWAH's designs. So the customer eventually decided to cooperate with us. To ensure success, the customer specially established an "Intelligent Manufacturing Department" and designated SAINTWAH's staffs to take related roles to help solve problems about technologies, installation and coordination.

As for this project, materials are blocky granites which have high hardness, high compressive strength and big abrasion. To process granites, SAINTWAH recommends vibrating feeders and soil removal screens to remove soil firstly. Next, jaw crushers are used to primarily break materials. The broken materials are then sent to single-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers to be crushed further. To get finer particles, multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers are, as fine crushing machines, applied. Finally, the plane-typed sand-making system is used to produce high-quality sand.
The project was expected to produce 3.6 million tons of high-quality aggregate annually. The finished aggregate would be supplied to produce light wall plate, PC prefabricated parts, dry-mixed mortar and other high value-added products. Meanwhile, the recycled fine powders and sorted residues would be used in the production of artificial stone and water stabilizer of road backfill.
This project can drastically remit the headache about granite waste disposal in local because of the comprehensive use of output materials. Meanwhile, 1.2 km² of forestry and agricultural acreage is expected to be recovered every year after this project is established. Besides, raw materials are granite plate wastes, which avoids getting materials by exploding mines. So, environment is protected well. What's better, this project offers over 300 heads wonderful jobs.
This project, on the whole, satisfies China's advocacy on development of "Circular Economy and Sustainable Society". It plays an important role in promoting "Blue Sky Action Plan" of Henan Province, China. It is totally a model deserving to be followed by other enterprises.
