SDJ6 DMU is specially designed narrow-gauge DMU and supplied for the passenger transport of African railway. The motor car adopts AC-DC electric transmission, truss load-bearing structure with inside corridor, axle-hung type traction motor. It is featured with excellent curve negotiation, direct power feeding to trains, easy maintenance. It applies to the areas of high temperature, high altitude and heavy rainfall. This DMU is a "2 motor-cars and 3 trailing cars" unit with one motor-car at each end and three trailing passenger cars coupled in between. Mature technologies have been employed for the trailer cars, so the appearance and interior setup are more humanized, aesthetic, comfortable and reliable.
