Seawater desalination equipment and systems are roughly divided into two parts: factory modular desalination unit and containerized/skid-mounted desalination unit
Factory modular desalination device: At present, the world's commercialized desalination technology mainly includes evaporation process and RO process, due to the development of membrane technology and corresponding supporting technologies, the cost per ton of fresh water is greatly reduced, especially the reverse osmosis system device is convenient to use, and the environmental restrictions are small. Desalinating seawater by reverse osmosis membrane method is an open-source incremental technology for water resource utilization, and is not affected by space and climate, which can ensure a stable water supply for coastal residents drinking water and island hotels, residents or industrial needs.
