Horizontal directional drilling rig (English abbreviation: HDD) is a kind of construction machinery that lays a variety of underground public facilities (pipelines, cables, etc.) under the condition of not excavating the surface, which is widely used in water supply, electricity, telecommunications, natural gas, gas, oil and other flexible pipeline laying facilities, it is suitable for sand, clay, and other ground conditions, not suitable for high groundwater levels and pebble formations, most of China's non-hard rock areas can be constructed.
