Throttle valve
A throttle valve is a valve that controls fluid flow or pressure by changing the throttle area. There are types of throttle valves such as fixed, needle, cage and orifice plate, which adjust the flow and pressure by changing the channel section area. Usually the medium flows at a large rate between the throttle disc and the seat, resulting in cavitation on the surface of the throttle adjuster. In order to minimize cavitation damage, Dawson's flow restrictors are made of materials (made of wear-resistant alloys) with excellent cavitation resistance.
