Introduction
The fiber optic gyro instrument uses a combination of gyroscope sensors and accelerometers. It utilizes the principle of fiber optic gyro to measure the rotation angular velocity of the Earth by the gyroscope, and measures the gravity acceleration of the Earth by the accelerometer, and calculates the inclination, azimuth, tool face and other information of the wellbore, which is not affected by magnetic field interference.
