Introduction of hydrovac excavation slurry dewatering
Hydrovac excavation is a non-destructive,precise, non-mechanical process that uses pressurized water and an industrial strength vacuum to simultaneously excavate and evacuate soil. As the pressurized water breaks up the soil it creates a slurry that is removed by a powerful vacuum into a debris tank. Hydrovac is currently the only method for non-destructive process for excavation operation. The hydrovac excavation can efficiently and precisely excavate in a variety of soil types and environmental conditions - Including: frozen soil conditions, clay, hard-packed dirt, and in remote areas or locations with limited access. The waste slurry from the hydrovac excavation will be sent to hydrovac slurry processing plant for treatment to recycle water and construction material.
